Flawed marble.
Michelangelo Buonarroti was able to turn a flawed and already-worked piece of marble into the David, so there must be a way to strategize how we pivot organization structures for a new age. The artist was reported to have asserted, "if people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all."

At the unveiling, the unexpected size, weight, and beauty of the statue demanded a reshuffling of plans. In 1504, 30 Florentine cultural leaders, including Leonardo da Vinci and Sandro Botticelli, convened to determine David’s fate.
